Community Luncheons

Community Luncheons

This monthly event is held on the same day as regular council meetings. It is fully funded through Crime Control District funds, which must be approved annually by the Crime Control Board and the City Council.

This is an opportunity for the police department to interact with many community members at once, share crime prevention presentations and/or other information, and to strengthen our partnerships within our city and surrounding communities. During the school year, attendees vote on art work from Burton Hill Elementary School. The winner is recognized the following month with a certificate and the opportunity to eat lunch with the Chief of Police and Principal.

Please try to make it in to meet us…. If you have a special dessert, please don’t hesitate to bring it with you!
