Police Officer
Job Description: The City of Westworth Village is accepting applications for the position of POLICE OFFICER until all positions are filled. There are several positions currently available.

Applicants must be TCLEOSE certified prior to appointment.
Beginning salary - $40,033 per year. Benefits include paid health insurance for employee, dental and vision insurance for employee and family, vacation, eleven paid holidays per year, and retirement benefits through TMRS.

Located in west Tarrant County, Westworth Village is one of the fastest growing cities in the D/FW area.

Police/Fire Dispatcher
Job Description: Receives and dispatches requests for Police, Fire, and Animal Control emergency and non-emergency services.

A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required. Six months or more of municipal Police, Fire, and 9-1-1 enhanced dispatching experience is preferred. Telecommunications Certification, as issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE), is preferred. Must work 12 hour shifts - holidays included, and accept on-call duty status.

Testing Requirements: Must submit to and pass a post-offer, non-regulated drug test, and background check.
Annual Salary of $30,270
